Lawrence O’Donnell, MSNBC's guru political analyst, moonlights over at the Huffington Post. The only difference between listening to Larry and reading Larry's articles is being able to re-read outrageous statements to make sure you understood what was said. Thanks to Larry boldy hammering out his predictions on the left-wing blog we are able to catalog his history of poor predictions.
While O’Donnell may think his opinion has weight, I think he has been so severely discredited that Iwonder why he shows his face in public anymore.
Now that we know that Rove was NOT the “leaker” of Valerie Plame’s name but rather Richard Armitage, it therefore becomes quite interesting to see how authoritatively O’Donnell comments on Karl Rove (all misspellings his):
07/02/05 - I revealed in yesterday's taping of the McLaughlin Group that Time magazine's emails will reveal that Karl Rove was Matt Cooper's source. I have known this for months but didn't want to say it at a time that would risk me getting dragged into the grand jury.
O’Donnell boastfully continues...
On Friday, I broke the story that the e-mails that Time turned over to the prosecutor that day reveal that Karl Rove is the source Matt Cooper is protecting.
Rove would not let me get one day of traction on this story if he could stop me. If what I have reported is not true, if Karl Rove is not Matt Cooper’s source, Rove could prove that instantly by telling us what he told the grand jury. Nothing prevents him from doing that, except a good lawyer who is trying to keep him out of jail.
7/04/05 - Karl Rove's lawyer, Robert Luskin, had his holiday weekend ruined on Friday when I broke the story that the e-mails that Time delivered to the special prosecutor that afternoon reveal that Karl Rove is the source Matt Cooper has been protecting for two years.
Not coincidentally, the word 'knowing' is the most important word in the controlling statute ( U.S. Code: Title 50: Section 421). To violate the law, Rove had to tell Cooper about a covert agent "knowing that the information disclosed so identifies such covert agent and that the United States is taking affirmative measures to conceal such covert agent's intelligence relationship to the United States."7/22/05 - Everything Rove-Luskin has leaked has been printed in a form most favorable to the Rove defense without a word of leaked input from the prosecutor. When the prosecutor tells his story, don't expect him to accept Rove's currently uncontested claim that he does not recall who told him that Wilson's wife was a CIA agent and don't expect the "old news" spin to work. When the prosecutor has his day, he is going to make new news.
10/6/05 - If Karl Rove's lawyer, Bob Luskin, is still as easy to read as he has been since I broke the story that his client was Matt Cooper's source, then we now know that Rove has received a target letter from Patrick Fitzgerald. How do we know it? Luskin refuses to deny it.
Prediction: at least three high level Bush Administration personnel indicted and possibly one or more very high level unindicted co-conspirators.
As usual, Luskin has said nothing that is inconsitent with Rove being indicted. But it usually takes the MSM a news cycle or two to figure that out.

He never posted so many times on The Huffington Post as he did when he thought he was “hot on the trail” of the conniving Karl Rove.
Seeing the Rove thing fall apart, O'Donnell decided to go after Joe Liberman HuffPo:
Joe Lieberman Will Drop Out 08/10/06 - Joe Lieberman will drop out. He probably knows right now that the day will come in late September when he will announce his withdrawal from the race. No one is going to have to talk him into it. By that time, the Democratic Party power structure will be doing its thing for Ned Lamont and Lieberman will be trailing by double digits.
According to Real Clear Politics which tracks Senate races, Lieberman is ahead in EVERY poll that has been conducted. the Quinnipiac poll has Joe Lieberman ahead by 12%. The average of all four polls has Joe Liberman ahead by 7.3%.
O'Donnell has no clue what he is talking about. His innane postings on HuffPo proves how out of touch he is with reality and how off balance his predictions are. Then again, maybe Lawrence O'Donnell is nothing more than Rove's sock puppet.
